No really – it’s not too early to start thinking about Christmas. Not if you want to make sure you’ve somewhere to stay while you indulge in some Christmas cheer and magic at Dublin Docklands Christmas Festival that is. The Festival will be running this year from December 12 to 23 every day of the week (see opening times at the bottom of this blog post).
So, now back for its ninth successful year (which proves it must be good) the Docklands Christmas Festival features a whole load of events as well as the gorgeous artisan craft stalls and delicious food venues, Victorian fairground rides and carol singing. And for the very young Santa’s Grotto will be there in all its glory, of course. Oh – and mums and dads will no doubt love to take the weight off their feet in the 1950s airstream bar, with musical entertainment promised every evening. Now, we’re not ones to be thinking of our stomach all the time but sometimes, when you’re walking around and a smell of cooking just hits you well, what is there to do? There is no defence. So we reckoned it was better to be forewarned about what delicacies we’ll be confronted with this year at the Docklands Christmas Festival and here they are:
The opening hours for the Docklands Christmas Festival is Monday to Wednesday from 12 noon to 8pm; Thursday and Friday from 12 noon to 10p; Saturday 10am to 10pm and Sunday 10am to 8pm. To book for the Docklands Christmas Festival do take a look at our bookings calendar on the website. It’s always best to book well in advance during the festive season to avoid disappointment.
