By DART Rail (North and South Dublin)

The DART (Dublin Area Rapid Transit) is the rail line running along the coast of Dublin, from Malahide and Howth southwards as far as Greystones, Co Wicklow. The DART system is administered by the national rail operator, Iarnród Éireann (Irish Rail).

Sandymount Hotel is just a 5 minute walk from Lansdowne Rd DART Station and only 2 stops from Pearse Station in Dublin city centre.

• Take the train to Lansdowne Road DART station. (DO NOT DISEMBARK AT SANDYMOUNT DART STATION)
  
• Exit the station and turn right.
• Walk past Aviva Stadium (on the left hand side).
• Cross the Dodder Bridge.
• Sandymount Hotel, on Herbert Rd, is on the right.
