At The Sandymount Hotel, community and compassion have always been at the heart of what we do. Each year, we’re proud to host our annual Santa Day — a festive afternoon filled with joy, laughter, and giving — all in support of a cause that means so much to our team.
This year’s Santa Day will take place on Sunday, 7th December, when we continue to raise funds for the Baby Kai Appeal Fund.
Baby Kai was born in December 2022, and at just five months old, he was diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) Type 1, a rare neuromuscular disorder that affects movement and muscle strength. There is no cure, but treatments can help manage symptoms and improve quality of life.
Kai’s story is deeply personal to us as his grandmother was once a valued member of our Sandymount Hotel family — and we’re honoured to continue supporting his journey.
Join us for a festive afternoon at The Sandymount Hotel’s Santa Day on Sunday, December 7th, from 2pm to 4pm. Enjoy a cosy meet and greet with Santa Claus, drop off your letters in our Santa Letter Box, and take part in fun activities like face painting, games, and music from the DJ. There will be plenty of sweet treats, including chocolate lollies for the kids and mulled wine and finger food for the adults.
Tickets are €12 per child and €9 per adult with all proceeds going to the ‘Baby Kai Appeal Fund’.
