As Dublin’s longest-running and fiercely independent, family-run hotel we are proud to support Irish producers wherever possible. We believe in simple, honest food using only the best of locally sourced ingredients. Head Chef, Shane Doherty, leads our talented kitchen brigade who harness their passion for food and creativity to create well-executed, classic and comforting dishes that will leave you craving more.

Having a bar and restaurant so near to the legendary Aviva Stadium made us want to pay homage to Ireland’s Boys in Green who regularly give us something to celebrate, so at the heart of The Sandymount Hotel’s culinary offering lies the stylish, modern yet relaxed Line Out Bar.

Open daily from 12.30pm, the Line Out Bar serves an enticing all-day menu that caters to every thirst and appetite, while the vibrant and inviting ambiance lends itself perfectly to post-dinner drinks and one-for-the-road nightcaps.

If you’re joining us for a celebration, you’re warmly invited to make it an extra special occasion by booking one of The Sandymount Hotel’s popular private dining options. The private dining space of Whitty’s Restaurant lends itself very well to semi-private events and is also available for exclusive hire. And for summertime get-togethers The Garden Terrace, just off the restaurant, is a sun-drenched spot for a BBQ, whether it’s bringing together family and friends or hosting a corporate shindig.
