Dubliners know that when the sun shines in Ireland you need to soak up every single drop, and The Sandymount Hotel’s Garden Terrace is the perfect place for doing just that.  

A popular local spot famous for our hotel’s delicious Match Day BBQs, the Garden Terrace is a Dublin outdoor events space with the added benefits of free parking, flexible areas, and our talented Head Chef Shane Doherty on hand to assist with menu planning.   

We’re realists and are therefore prepared for all weathers. A large, heated marquee covers the main dining area and ensures guests are kept comfortable. The structure can also be beautifully adorned with strings of lights, balloons and lanterns to create an enchanting ambiance for special occasions. Meanwhile, additional picnic tables on the lawn are there for taking full advantage when the sun makes an appearance. 

Adjoining Whitty’s Restaurant and surrounded by the hotel’s manicured gardens with the leafy suburb of Ballsbridge beyond, it’s the perfect pit-stop for a refreshing outdoor drink and bite to eat or private outdoor space for a celebration, corporate event or teambuilding day.
