Ring in the New Year
As 2025 draws to a close, join Dublin’s dazzling New Year’s Festival from 30 December to 1 January – with concerts, street processions, city-wide music trails, and fireworks over Howth and Dún Laoghaire.
Family-friendly fun kicks off with Echoes of Ireland at Dublin Castle on 30 December, a Countdown Concert Matinee for kids on New Year’s Eve (4–6 pm) leads into the big midnight concert headlined by Inhaler, followed by late-night celebrations across the city.
On New Year’s Day, soak up the atmosphere with free live music at Dublin Castle and Meeting House Square. After the festivities, retreat to The Sandymount Hotel, where comfort and calm await.
