Breakfast at Whitty’s
A subtle nod to the origins of The Sandymount Hotel, Whitty’s is named after Mary Whitty, a former maid of Sir Thomas William Robinson, one of the original owners of No. 7 Herbert Road on which The Sandymount Hotel was built. Sir Thomas was one of the leading businessmen in Dublin in the early 20th Century and was knighted by Queen Victoria – “Knight Inshia of the Piael”.
For guests of The Sandymount Hotel, Whitty’s Restaurant is the place you wake up to in the morning. A place that wraps you in cozy comfort, gives you that welcome first sip of piping hot tea or coffee, sates your appetite with a delicious breakfast, and gets you ready to head back out into Dublin, full steam ahead.
Whitty’s freshly prepared buffet breakfast is overflowing with a choice of cereals, fruit, yogurts, refreshing juices and healthy smoothies as well as hearty cooked options to build your Full Irish just the way you like it.
