Close enough to the Aviva Stadium to hear the roar of the crowd on match days, our main bar and restaurant is named in honour of Ireland’s Boys in Green who regularly give us something to celebrate. A favourite of locals and hotel guests alike, The Line Out Bar is a place with true neighbourhood charm, where the spirit of community and welcoming, family-run hospitality come together in a lively yet laid-back setting.

All day dining

The Line Out Bar’s eclectic All-Day menu reflects The Sandymount Hotel’s fiercely independent ethos by celebrating fresh, local ingredients, and offering everything from light bites to hearty, comforting dishes.

Serving daily from 12.30pm, from lunch through to dinner, guests will enjoy a menu carefully crafted by our talented Head Chef, Shane Doherty to satisfy all tastes and appetites. Share large portions of addictive Chicken Wings smothered in hot sauce with celery and a cooling garlic mayo dip, or Garlic & Chilli Tiger Prawns served with toasted bread. Tuck into mouthwatering main courses of juicy 10oz Irish Sirloin Steak, Baked Teriyaki & Wasabi Seed Salmon, and the famous Whitty’s Crispy Chicken Burger. Or grab a crisp, Italian-based pizza with a choice of delicious toppings. All that plus a well thought out kids’ menu means even the pickiest of eaters won’t be able to resist.
