In partnership with our Health, Safety, and Hygiene consultants SeaChange we have developed an industry-leading protocol which combined with using Hospital-grade products and PPE, will assist us in protecting the safety of our guests, visitors, and employees.
We are committed to making your experience at Sandymount Hotel as comfortable as possible and we will continue to monitor and update these controls as new directives are introduced to ensure our guests, visitors, employees, and local community are safe.
Q: Are there any changes to check in or check out?
A: Check-in time is from 3 pm and check- out is 12 noon. Guests should adhere to the physical distancing in place at reception and lobby area whilst checking in and out. Appropriate signage will be on display.
Our reception desk has Perspex guard screens in place for your safety, If luggage service is required, guests will be required to leave the bag on the floor. Our porter will sanitise the luggage handle and then proceed to bring the luggage to the room. Before the handover or placement of the bag in the room, our porter will sanitise the handle again.
Elevator signage will advise that only one guest may travel per elevator.
Q: What additional cleaning protocols are being introduced?
Industry-leading cleaning and sanitising protocols are used to clean guest facilities, with particular attention paid to high touch items including television remote controls, toilet seats and handles, door and furniture handles, taps, nightstands, telephones, light switches. Public areas will be cleaned regularly throughout the day and evening.
Q: Do I need to wear a mask?
A: Guests are not required to wear masks. However, if guests wish to wear a mask, masks will be provided by the hotel for guests and are available at reception.

A: Yes. Sandymount Hotel provides complimentary parking to guests and visitors. You can enter the hotel via the main entrance that is just a few steps from the car park. If you require assistance, please make reception aware.

A: Yes. Sandymount Hotel has 3 Family bedrooms that accommodate 2 adults and 2 children. We can provide a rollaway bed for a child under 12 at an additional cost. We also have bedrooms with 3 single beds, bedrooms with a double and a single bed.
